Well, as you have probably guessed, I am new to this whole blogging thing. It kind of happened by accident one day when I tagged something on twitter. Soon I was introduced to the idea of fashion and beauty blogs… Coincidentally, there seems to be a niche of bloggers who are also nurses like me 
. So I started consulting them when I was looking for advice or new products to try. I love the idea of “real” every day people like me giving their honest feedback around products instead of the hyped-up and over-inflated claims found inside photoshopped magazines.
So, as I am currently facing 6 weeks of plaster and non-weight-bearing (following recent surgery on my ankle), I thought I’d give it a go too! I’ve always liked writing and creative-type things, which is something I don’t really get to incorporate in my current job. And seeing as most of my shift is spent wearing scrubs (read: pajamas), scrub hat, surgical mask and runners, anaesthetic nursing is not exactly the most glamorous profession! Here’s hoping that this nurse by day will become a successful beauty blogger by night!
